WILL THE DERAILLEUR GUARD FIT MY BIKE?
The Derailleur Guard is a universal fit. It can be bent and formed to fit your bike. It can also be trimmed if needed to allow for extra frame or cable clearance. It easily attached with 2 zip ties (these come in the kit, plus a few extras)

WHICH IS BETTER:Â GEO MTB OR GEO MAX?
Both are excellent choices. The GEO MTB offers great protection for hands and controls, it is light weight and does not crowd the cockpit. Most riders comment that they "seem to disappear" when riding.
The GEO MAX offers no-excuses, maximum protection! Strong, safe and durable - there is no other product quite like it.
The MAX shield can be easily removed with 2 screws, which converts it to GEO MTB.
We also offer an upgrade kit to convert an MTB set into a MAX set.
ARE THEY HEAVY? NO!
As installed on your bike, a set of GEO MTB handguards weigh a total of 210 grams, or about the same as 7 ounces of water.
WILL GEO HANDGUARDS FIT MY BIKE?
GEO Handguards will fit any standard (22mm) bars with open ended grips. They work with aluminum and carbon fiber bars as well as heavy duty bars.  They are a perfect match for the power, speed and weight of E-Bikes.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN ONE KIT?
A GEO MTB Handguard kit includes left and right handguards and mounting hardware, which consists of two shaft collars and two expansion plugs. Also included is a nine color sticker pack and installation instructions. You will need metric hex wrenches to install plus tools to remove your grips and controls.

DO I NEED TO MODIFY MY BIKE?
No modifications needed. No drilling, cutting or bending. The only requirements are standard (22mm) bars with open ended grips. Note - the grips and controls need to be removed to install. The handguard hardware uses common metric hex wrenches to install.

HOW LONG DO GEO HANDGUARDS LAST?
We designed GEO Handguards to be safe, strong and durable. The guards are made of a proprietary hybrid polymer which was formulated specifically for this application. The hardware is machined aircraft grade 6061 aluminum, which has been anodized for maximum durability and corrosion resistance. Even the stickers are made of outdoor grade vinyl. If your handguards are getting worn out or ugly, you can reverse the left and right, to expose the other side. You can also wet-sand them with 400-600 grit sandpaper.  If they really need replacement, we offer new guards (no hardware) for $30.
